Terms and Conditions:
* I am 18 years of age or older and have read, understood and agreed to the terms below.
* We offer a 7 day (1 week) trial period to make sure your new cat or kitten is a suitable match for your family. After the 7 day trial period, if you decide the cat or kitten is not suitable you will be entitled to a refund of your adoption fee MINUS a $50 administration fee.
* During the trial period 7 days (1 week) if you have any concerns or if your cat or kitten becomes unwell, you MUST contact Cat Rescue Gold Coast to arrange medical treatment if needed. If this process is not followed you will be responsible for all related costs which have been incurred and you will not be entitled to any form of reimbursement .
* Under a “pre adoption agreement” (which occurs when the kitten is not yet old enough to leave for their new home) Please note that a $50 deposit is required to secure the adoption and this deposit is NOT refundable for any reason once paid.
* Cat Rescue Gold Coast will not be responsible for ANY disease, damages, loss, expenses or injury to your home, your other pets, yourself, your family or any visitors to your home.
* The management committee has the right to assess and approve or reject any applications. This decision is made after much consideration and the managements committee’s decision is final.
* The adoption application (once approved) will not be considered complete until this form has been completed and signed, and the adoption fee has been made in full.
* All relevant documents including desexing, vaccination and microchipping certificates will only be provided to you once the 7 day trial is complete.
* If at any time your circumstances change and you are no longer able to care for your cat or kitten you must contact Cat Rescue Gold Coast Inc. as your first point of contact to help you re-home, surrender or care for your cat or kitten. If there is a space available we will take your cat or kitten back into our care and provide you with surrender documents to complete.
* I agree to pay the microchip change of ownership fee, this fee is payable directly to the relevant microchip company and I understand that Cat Rescue Gold Coast is not liable for this fee. (This fee is approximately $15 and is subject to change without notice)
* I understand that Cat Rescue Gold Coast ONLY pays for vaccinations up to the date of desexing. At this time the adoption will be finalised and ANY vaccinations that fall due after the date of desexing are the responsibility of the new owner.
